The Beverly Hillbillies: The Clampetts and Honest John arrive in New York, where the police are waiting for him to arrive. The police tell him he has to leave in twenty-four hours, which he tells Jed means that he has arranged that New York City stay open for twenty-four hours since the city normally closes at nine o’clock. He spends his time showing the Clampetts Central Park and other sites and sells Jed more property. As this is all happening, Drysdale and Jane are desperate to get to New York City to get the Clampetts out of the clutches of Honest John. They finally get there and are told where the Clampetts are by a cab driver who drove the Clampetts before. As the day ends, Honest John is planning to leave with Jed’s money, but after the Clampetts’ good heartedness and sweetness takes effect, he gives the money back and leaves the city.
